3 DAY ITINERARY
DAY 1 – MORNING SESSION
SILVERTON HOTEL NSW
FLIGHT TIME: 80 minutes
Depart from Moorabbin Airport and in just 80 minutes land in Broken Hill, outback NSW.
Explore Broken Hill and all it has to offer, before heading out to the legendary Silverton Hotel for lunch.
DAY 1 – AFTERNOON SESSION
FLIGHT TIME: 90 MINUTES
After lunch, depart for Australia’s most unique mining city, Coober Pedy.
Break up the afternoon and explore Australia’s version of the Wild West.
Transfer to the Desert Cave Hotel for a tasty dinner at the renowned Umbertos restaurant.
Stay overnight beneath the rock in the breathtaking Desert Cave Hotel.
DAY 2 – MORNING SESSION
WILLIAM CREEK HOTEL
FLIGHT TIME: 20 MINUTES
There’s no better place to wake up dusty and smash a camel pie, all in the surrounds of the Big Red Sand Dune, in the Simpson Desert.
Depart for William Creek and en-route tick off one of Australia’s most popular and desirable scenic flights over Lake Eyre.
Have a countery and hot food at South Australia’s most prominent Outback Hotel.
DAY 2 – AFTERNOON SESSION
FLIGHT TIME: 50 MINUTES
Depart William Creek for Birdsville and land at arguably one of Australia’s most iconic Outback pubs.
Enjoy an afternoon session, dinner and overnight stay at either Birdsville or Bedourie, depending on availability.
DAY 3 – MORNING SESSION
FLIGHT TIME: 80 MINUTES
Depart Birdsville for Hungerford and enjoy a delicious lunch at The Royal Mail Hotel, positioned on the QLD-NSW border. Established in 1873, this town is certainly unique and a definite must-visit.
DAY 3 – AFTERNOON SESSION
FLIGHT TIME: 20 MINUTES/110 MINUTES
After thousands of kilometres flown, 4 states, 4 landmarks and 5 of Australia’s most iconic pubs, it’s time to head homeward with a quick re-fuelling stop in Bourke. Arrive back in Moorabbin late afternoon for some much needed sleep!
